As the CEO of Whitacre Logistics, Gary takes pride in running a company that is easy to do business with.
Jon Willard has worked in logistics for over a decade, spending every year at a company he calls home - Whitacre Logistics. Jon knows that his role as Chief Financial Officer is more than just about the numbers. It’s about providing top-notch service in payables, billing, payroll, and other banking processes to best serve our customers and employees. Surrounded by passionate coworkers, he’s confident in their future growth and success for many years to come.
Jeffrey Vielhaber describes his role as Chief Operating Officer as "steering the brokerage ship". With over 35 years of experience in the logistics industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Whitacre's daily operations. Jeff believes in building long-term relationships with customers and employees by creating a company culture that feels like family.
Doug Schreiber brings over 45 years of experience in logistics to his role of Chief Operating Officer of Whitacre Solutions, Inc. Directly responsible for supporting and implementing services focused on LTL and Managed Services, Doug knows the importance of providing excellent customer service, tailored specifically to customer needs. Working alongside the other members of the leadership group, Doug sees continued growth in areas that provide value-added support to Whitacre’s loyal customer base.
Steve Thomas specializes in creating logistical solutions for his customers, no matter what it takes. In the last year at his previous company, he moved over 41,000 containers and saved the team more than $12M. In 2022, he brought his three decades of industry expertise to his new role as Vice President of National Accounts at Whitacre Logistics.
Mike Dean stays future-focused on driving revenue growth and profitability at Whitacre in his role of VP, Business Development. Since joining the company in 2022, Mike has led efforts to expand the company’s reach within the field of logistics by overseeing the sales team and developing strategies to secure new contracts. With a bold and strategic vision for the future, he believes Whitacre can seize new opportunities and capitalize on emerging trends to drive success and build a stronger, more resilient organization.
